Access During Regular Academic Year (Not Including Finals Period)

During the Fordham Law School’s regular academic term, the Maloney Library is open to the following categories of persons:
  1. All current students, faculty, and staff of Fordham University.
  2. Fordham University alumni with Alumni Association cards.
  3. Current students and faculty of Columbia Law School and New York University Law School.
  4. Individuals requesting Federal Depository materials.
Access to the Fordham Law Library may be granted to the following categories of individuals:
  1. Current students and faculty of New York City metropolitan area law schools: patrons should check with their respective schools' libraries concerning access.
  2. Current students and faculty of NELLCO full member libaries with a letter of introduction from their library.
  3. Students and faculty of RLG Shares member institutions will be given a pass upon proof of their current affiliation.
  4. Metro Library pass holders. Fordham Law Library only accepts yellow single-use Metro library passes.

Access During Finals Period

During the Fordham Law School reading and finals period, access to the Maloney Library is restricted. Please see the Hot Topics section of the Maloney Library home page as the end of the semester approaches for specific restriction dates. Fordham University students who need specific legal materials during the restricted period should complete this form to apply for access permission. During the reading and final period, the Maloney Library is open to the following patron groups only:
  1. Fordham Law School faculty, students, staff, and alumni
  2. Fordham University faculty and staff
  3. Federal Depository Patrons (with permission of the Maloney Library Reference Department)
  4. Metro Card holders
  5. Green Letter holders
  6. Maloney Library ID (Blue Card) holders
