Interlibrary Loan
Law ILLIAD
Fordham Law Library has an extensive collection of legal materials, however, from time to time  your research may require material we do not own.  The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) department will attempt to obtain this material from another institution.  Prior to making a request through ILL please check the Fordham University Catalog  to see if the material is owned by one of the other three Fordham libraries.  You have a quicker response and longer check out period from Fordham than other libraries.

Request for material from Fordham's Walsh Library at Rosehill and the Tarrytown Campus Library as well as all material from outside institutions can be made online through our web-based ILL system, Law ILLIAD.  This system is only available to current Fordham Law School students, faculty and staff.

All users affiliated with the Law School should use Law ILLIAD.  Please note that Law ILLIAD is separate from the ILLIAD service operated by Fordham University Libraries.

You will need to create an ILLIAD account prior to making your first request.  After going to the ILLIAD log on screen, click on "First Time User Registration" and follow the instructions.  Once registered, users may access ILLIAD via the web to enter requests and check the status of items already requested.  Notification is sent to the email address specified during registration when the item arrives or if it cannot be filled for some reason.
